Get to know Dr. Debra Gotz, MD, a pediatrician serving Stamford, Connecticut. 

Dr. Debra Gotz is a pediatrician serving Stamford and the surrounding communities at Stamford Pediatric Associates. 

Stamford Pediatric Associates takes pride in keeping up with the latest medical information. All of the physicians attend a minimum of twenty-five hours of Continuing Medical Education yearly. They attend both local and national conferences on a wide variety of topics, enabling them to accrue the most up-to-date pediatric knowledge. This information is then applied to the way they take care of their patients. 

Dr. Gotz received her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She went on to complete a residency at New York University Medical Center. As a pediatrician, Dr. Gotz diagnoses and treats infections, injuries, diseases, and other disorders in children. Pediatricians typically work with infants, children, teenagers, and young adults up to age 21. They practice medical care as well as preventative health care. 

Dr. Gotz is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The ABP is one of the 24 certifying boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). The ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certificate is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence. 

Dr. Gotz enjoys being a mom, taking pictures of her girls, watching them dance, play and grow. She also loves to read and be read to, enjoys sewing, a good movie, and a travel adventure.
