Dr. Elizabeth R. De Oliveira, a committed pediatric cardiologist, has been a vital part of the greater Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Santa Monica communities since joining Pacific Pediatric Cardiology Medical Group, Inc. in 2000. With over three decades of specialized experience, Dr. De Oliveira has made significant contributions to diagnosing and managing congenital heart disease and lipid disorders in children and adolescents.

Dr. De Oliveira’s medical journey began in her native Brazil, where she graduated from the prestigious Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. After completing a pediatric residency in New York she further developed her expertise through a distinguished fellowship in pediatric cardiology at The New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical College.

Prior to relocating to Los Angeles, Dr. De Oliveira conducted groundbreaking research on cholesterol metabolism at Rockefeller University and completed a senior research fellowship in pediatric echocardiography at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Her extensive background in non-invasive echocardiography combined with a warm and caring attitude has established her as a leader in the care of patients with congenital heart disease.

Currently, Dr. De Oliveira is affiliated with several renowned medical institutions, including Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Huntington Hospital, Emanate Health Queen of the Valley Hospital, White Memorial Medical Center, Providence Saint John’s Medical Center and Dignity Health  Hospitals. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association.

Dr. De Oliveira adopts a patient-centered approach that underscores the significance of early detection and comprehensive care, ensuring that children and adolescents with cardiac conditions receive the highest quality treatment.
