Get to know Internist Dr. Ron Dunchok, who serves patients in San Dimas, California.

An experienced internist specializing in hospital medicine, Dr. Dunchok works with patients at San Dimas Community Hospital. 

San Dimas Community Hospital consists of the 101-bed general acute care facility and two identical Medical Office Buildings. It draws the majority of its patients from its own town as well as the surrounding communities of Glendora, La Verne, Covina, West Covina, Azusa, Walnut, Diamond Bar, Pomona, and Claremont.

Regarding his educational background, Dr. Dunchok earned his medical degree from the Sapienza University of Rome in 1983. After relocating to the United States, he completed a residency in internal medicine at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in 1987.

Alongside his clinical practice, the doctor can be found on staff at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center & Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

In honor of his clinical expertise, Dr. Dunchok has been the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2018, 2017) and On-Time Doctor Award (2018).
