Get to know Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist Dr. Jennifer A. Belsky, who serves patients throughout the State of Indiana.

An Indiana-based pediatric hematologist-oncologist, Dr. Belsky is the Lead of the Pediatric Lymphoma Team at Riley Hospital for Children, serving patients in the Indianapolis and Carmel areas. Her research is currently focused on supportive care clinical trials, with particular attention to chemotherapy induced side effects including neurotoxicity, constipation, and nausea/vomiting.

Riley Hospital for Children strives to provide a family-friendly environment where world-class healthcare for children is matched by genuine hospitality and helpfulness.

Throughout her academic career, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, and obtained a Master of Science degree from Wright State University. She completed her residency in pediatrics and her fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in pediatric hematology/oncology and pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). 

With a passion for teaching, Dr. Belsky serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Her clinical responsibilities include caring for children and adolescents diagnosed with leukemias and lymphomas. Additionally, she is the Director of Pediatric Lymphoma at Riley Hospital for Children, where she leads the lymphoma team in clinical trials and clinical expertise. She was named a top emerging physician by the American Osteopathic Foundation in 2020 for her leadership, teaching, and research expertise in pediatric oncology.
