Dr. Darty is a dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at her private dental practice in Jasper, Alabama. There, she and her staff are devoted to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of patients’ smiles using conservative, state-of-the-art dental procedures that will result in beautiful, long-lasting smiles. They also provide comprehensive treatment planning and use restorative and cosmetic dentistry to achieve optimal dental health.
Dr. Darty was born and raised in Walker County. She knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. A love of science and a passion for helping people strongly influenced her decision. Dr. Darty credits local dentists, especially Dr. Buddy Thorne, for helping her to research the dental field and for teaching her about patient care.
Dr. Darty received her diploma from Walker High School in 1997. She went on to graduate from Samford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2001. After graduation, she attended the University of Alabama School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree in 2006.
Dr. Darty regularly attends continuing education seminars and has taken implant courses at the Las Vegas Institute. She also attends various study clubs and conferences throughout the year. Keeping up with new procedures and technology is a top priority for her. In addition, Dr. Darty has completed a Botox and Dermal Filler program under Dr. Peter Waite. She has also completed CEREC and Invisalign training.
Dr. Darty is a certified Invisalign® provider. Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity.
