After relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in internal medicine at the Unity Health System in 2008, and her fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Baystate Medical Center in 2011.

A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the doctor attained board certification in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
