The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Bologna in Italy in 1980. He then relocated to the United States, performing his residency in internal medicine at Sisters of Charity Hospital.
A Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP), Dr. Olivieri is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM certifies emergency physicians who meet its educational, professional standing, and examination standards.
