Get to know Chiropractor Dr. Sylvia A. Bidwell, who serves patients in Moorestown, New Jersey.

Dr. Bidwell, a licensed chiropractor, opened Bidwell Chiropractic in Moorestown, New Jersey on November 2nd, 1998.

Her chiropractic services help patients of all ages, including spinal decompression, spinal manipulation and adjustment, stretching and strengthening exercises, prenatal chiropractic, and pediatric chiropractic. Dr. Bidwell has extensive experience using chiropractic to help patients recover from auto injuries, as well, and encourages patients to come in for a consultation whether they are currently experiencing pain or are taking proactive steps to address spinal and whole-body wellness.

Geared towards spinal healthcare and wellness care, Dr. Bidwell is dedicated to practicing conservative, nonsurgical solutions to prevent and relieve pain. Her passion is to help the body heal itself through these high-quality chiropractic treatments. She understands how back pain can make everyday tasks more burdensome than ever, and that’s why she will take the time to listen to one’s story, their struggles, and what they are looking to achieve through chiropractic sessions.

A resident of Moorestown, Dr. Bidwell earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick in 1990. She then obtained her Doctorate in Chiropractic degree from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois in 1994.

Working as a chiropractor in the Burlington County area since 1995, her passion for chiropractic and wellness care not only allows her to correct numerous health problems, but also allows her to help in preventing many conditions from developing. She emphasizes the importance of helping the body’s natural ability to heal itself through spinal adjustments and adjunctive therapies, as well as helping provide advice for “homework” one can practice outside of the clinic, such as better nutrition, sleep advice, improved posture, and making the workplace more ergonomic.

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine that mainly deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. A chiropractor uses spinal adjustments, manipulation, and other techniques to manage patients’ health concerns, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, vertigo and a long list of other ailments and conditions. They aim to improve patients’ functionality and quality of life by properly aligning the body’s musculoskeletal structure and enabling the body to heal itself naturally, without the use of medication or surgery.

Having been active in the Burlington County area for many years, Dr. Bidwell served as a Board member from 2010 to 2014 of the YMCA, and President of the Moorestown Rotary for 2014-2015. She is also a member of the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce, and a winner of “Best of Burlington County” for multiple years.

When Dr. Bidwell is not in the office, she enjoys working out, dancing, participating in running events and triathlons, roller blading, exploring nature, reading, and most of all, spending time with her family.
