Dr. Schrier, a board-certified nephrologist, is the Founder & Medical Director of Park Avenue Nephrology. He and his staff proudly serve communities with the best kidney care and dialysis services in Queens, Brooklyn, and The Bronx, New York.

Striving to provide an academic level of care in a more personal private practice setting, Park Avenue Nephrology is affiliated with Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, North Shore University Hospital, and Wyckoff Heights Medical Center.

Growing up on Long Island, Dr. Schrier graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Medicine in 2007. He then completed his residency training in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital/Long Island Jewish Medical Center (NSUH-LIJMC) in 2010, and subsequently completed a two-year fellowship in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension in 2012. During his last year of fellowship, he was selected to serve as Chief Fellow. 

Specializing in the treatment of kidney diseases, the doctor is board-certified in both internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Moreover, Dr. Schrier holds additional board certification in nutritional support as well. 

Nephrology is a specialty of medicine that concerns itself with the kidneys: the study of normal kidney function and kidney disease, the preservation of kidney health, and the treatment of kidney disease, from diet and medication to renal replacement therapy.
