Dr. Shepherd earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Weber State University, followed by an MBA in Health Care Leadership from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Shepherd completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Saint Louis University, where he also served as Chief Resident – Anesthesiology. He then completed a fellowship in Pain Management at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Shepherd is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, the Spine Intervention Society, and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
