Dr. Martinez is a board-certified pain management specialist and the Founder of ProActive Pain Care P.A. in Bonita Springs, Florida. His vision is to proactively treat patients while improving function and promoting activity. Using the most up to date and groundbreaking therapies, he aims to provide the most comprehensive and patient-directed pain care in Southwest Florida.

Additionally, he is the Clinic Medical Director of Recharge Wellness Clinic in Bonita Springs. Dr. Martinez collaborates with the doctors and nurses at Recharge to recommend conservative pain management strategies, as well as to provide interventional pain management, if needed. 

After earning his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, he went on to complete his internship and residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by his fellowship in pain medicine focusing on the multidisciplinary treatment of acute, chronic, and cancer related pain at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine, Dr. Martinez’s areas of focus include spinal cord stimulator therapy, intrathecal pump management, platelet-rich plasma injections, stem cell therapy, kyphoplasty, sympathetic nerve blocks, radio-frequency ablation, epidural steroid injections, botox for migraine, medication management, and buprenorphine therapy.
