What do you attribute your success to?
- Putting God first. I took a different route to becoming a doctor. I started out a soldier serving as a flight medic but wanting to be an Electrical Engineer. As a flight medic, I felt God directing me to move in the direction of medicine. It gave me the chance to help other people, and also to help my family see medicine through a different lens then they had since my grandmother, who was in her early 40\'s, died due to doctor error.
