The Quantum Physical Medicine Institute specializes in the diagnoses, management, and treatment of: personal injuries, including automobile accidents; industrial accidents, including workers’ compensation; sports and orthopedic injuries; acute whiplash and chronic back, neck, and joint pain; physical therapy and medical treatment.
Back in 1982, Dr. Kim obtained his medical degree from the Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. Upon relocating to the United States, he served an internship at Detroit-Macomb Hospital in 1982, a residency at MetroHealth Medical Center in 1985, and an additional residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1988.
A member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the doctor is board-certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The mission of the ABPMR is to serve the public by improving the quality of patient care in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This is accomplished through a process of certification and maintenance of certification that fosters excellence and encourages continuous learning.
