Get to know Family Practitioner Dr. Margo Marie Wolf, who serves patients in Joliet, Illinois.

In practice since 1994, Dr. Wolf is a trusted family practitioner who sees patients of all ages at DuPage Medical Group in Joliet, Illinois. She pri­or­i­tizes total patient health, with clinical interests in pre­ven­tive medicine.

Deciding to follow in her grandfather’s footsteps and practice medicine, she was inspired by his treatment of wounded soldiers as part of the Italian Medical Corp. Dr. Wolf has an interest in keeping her patients healthy and out of hospitals. She is interested in cancer prevention and appreciates patients who are proactive in their health and lifestyle choices. This attitude allows her to help them make educated choices that can make a big difference in their lives, once they commit to them. 

At the start of her academic career, Dr. Wolf graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993. She then went on to perform her residency in family medicine at Midwestern University.

Dedicated to excellence, she is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Wolf is an active member of the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association.

Additionally, she is affiliated with AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center Joliet, AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center Elk Grove Village, and Silver Cross Hospital.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. Happily married, she and her husband have two grown children. In addition to her fondness for her cats, Dr. Wolf enjoys running, cooking, and nutrition. She speaks both English and Italian.
