Can hearing loss be reversed in kids?
If the decreased hearing is just from the ear infection then often it will improve or reverse but it depends. Often with ear infections in kids, the decrease hearing is due to the fluid in the middle ear. If this is fully treated then the hearing usually improves. In some kids they don’t get rid of the fluid completely and the hearing is still affected. This is often when an ENT can be consulted for possible ear tubes which will then assist with fluid and therefore hearing. But this is only the case if the hearing issue is from the above. Good luck. Is it normal to lose hearing with an ear infection?

What is the strongest medicine for anxiety?
It’s not a matter of what the strongest medicine is. It’s important to find the right medication for you and that is different for each person. This is often dependent on the symptoms your having with your anxiety as well as other medical issues. I would discuss this with either your primary care provider or a psychiatrist if you prefer. What does acupuncture do for chronic sinusitis?

What's this on my body?
From what I can see and based on your symptoms, you may be having an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin. I would take some Benadryl or zyrtec to help with the rash. If your taking it for strep then you have 2 more days of antibiotics left. You will need to stop these and contact the clinic for a possible different antibiotic to finish the course. Is 90/59 BP at rest ok?
So it depends. Some peoples normal resting blood pressure is around 90/60. If you are not on blood pressure medications this can be normal for young healthy people. If this is not normal for you and you are in quarantine due to being infected or exposed then I would make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your blood pressure. If you are not having any symptoms of low blood pressure and are staying hydrated then your likely fine. What kind of therapy is effective after a stroke?
Depending on the type of stroke and what residual effects they have will depend on the specific therapy. The main therapy that is needed is physical therapy if there are muscle weakness and issues vs speech therapy if they are having issues with speaking and talking or swallowing. Some need occupational therapy if they need help relearning how to do things and such. It is very individualized. Diabetes question?
To answer this question I will pose a couple questions back to you. Did you primary care provider or endocrinologist tell you to take the glucofort? And if not do they know he is taking it? Many supplements can interfere with other medications or cause other issues. Technically he can take his metformin and glipiZide with it and should watch his sugars. If he has high blood pressure as well or takes blood pressure medication then I would advise not taking the glucofort as one of its ingredients can make blood pressure worse and therefore cause issues. Is it normal for breasts to hurt after a mammogram?

Is there a cough syrup for infants?
If your child is over 2 months old there is a cough syrup by zarbees which is ok and specifically for infants made from agave. But make sure it says for 2 months or older. Otherwise it may have honey which is not safe in infants. Pending on age and if a lot of nasal congestion sometimes a very small amount of childrens zyrtec can be used but it depends on how old. I tested my sugar it was 494 how can I lower it?
Based on that sugar you have diabetes. I am not sure if you’ve been told this in the past or not as it looks like the information you have shows you’ve had this for a little while. With numbers that high, you need prescription medications at least for a while as well as likely changes to your diet and lifestyle. If you do not have a primary care physician I would highly recommend getting one. If you have one, you should work with them on getting you on the right regime. Something you can do in the meantime is to make sure you are eating healthy with small portion sizes especially with carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are not evil with diabetes but being very careful about them and the amount is very important. Doing physical activity can also greatly help keep sugars in control. How do you soothe a baby with acid reflux?
There are several things you can do to try and help the baby. These work better with younger kids as they are still developing. Don’t overfeed and burping the baby often helps. After feeding keep the baby at a minimum of a 45-degree angle with the head up for 45 minutes to help let the food move through the stomach. Pending on how old the baby is and if you’ve already tried the above, switching to a more gentle formula if you are using formula can help. If breastfeeding, watch what you are eating as this affects your milk and can upset babies' tummy more. Lastly, some parents find that gripe water can also be soothing to baby tummies as well. If the reflux is very bad and you’ve tried these options, talk with the baby's doctor as the baby may need medication for a little while it’s grown more. This is very common. READ MORE

This is a very tough question. There could be a lot of different things happening that could be contributing or causing. One of the things that is always super important with health in general is trying to have a good healthy lifestyle that way it’s not part of whatever is going on. I know it may sound stupid but eating healthy and staying active is super important as your able. Established in 1948, Rapid City Medical Center is a medical practice comprising eight locations, including an urgent care clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota. Building an on-going tradition of excellence in healthcare, the group boasts a team of more than eighty physicians and caregivers whose specialties include dermatology, ENT, family medicine, gastroenterology, internal medicine, OB/GYN, eye care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, podiatry, rheumatology, surgery, urgent care, urology, and more.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Kelts completed her undergraduate education at St. Olaf College where she met her husband, Dr. Andrew Kelts. She completed her medical school training at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was part of their inaugural class. While in medical school, she was also an inaugural pre-doctoral osteopathic principles and practices fellow specializing in osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM).

After her training, Dr. Kelts performed her residency in family medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She was awarded a core faculty position upon completion of her residency, practicing full-scope family medicine including OB deliveries, inpatient services, nursing home services, and outpatient clinic. In addition, she was responsible for resident education and was instrumental in osteopathic accreditation for the program.

After her husband accepted a gastroenterology fellowship position, Dr. Kelts moved to Elmira, New York. While there, she practiced full-scope family medicine and served as the Associate Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She continued in these roles — providing both inpatient and outpatient services while teaching residents — until moving to Rapid City.

Passionate about her profession, she is double board-certified in family medicine through the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians & the American Board of Family Medicine.
