Dr. Clegg is a southern Indiana orthopedic surgeon specializing in total knee replacements, partial knee replacements, and anterior hip replacements. He is in private practice, seeing patients at his offices in New Albany and Charlestown, Indiana.

During his career as an orthopedic surgeon, he has performed over 2,000 minimally invasive hip and knee replacements. He also performs shoulder and knee arthroscopies, including rotator cuff repair, meniscus surgery, and cartilage procedures.
After graduating top in his class at Scottsburg High School, Dr. Clegg received his undergraduate degree with honors from Hanover College. After spending a year doing clinical research, he entered medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine where he graduated with honors and was awarded membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Thereafter, he completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. There, he received numerous honors including being named the most outstanding orthopedic researcher and being elected the Administrative Chief resident.
A member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the doctor is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.
In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Clegg has been actively involved in improving the field of orthopedic surgery with his clinical and basic science research for the last 15 years and has published a number of top research papers. He is an avid educator and has served as gratis faculty for Hanover College, Pikeville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
