Get to know Internist Dr. Connor B. Tryon, who serves patients in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

A highly-regarded internist, Dr. Tryon is the Chief of Medicine and Associate Program Director of the Traditional Rotating Internship associated with the Internal Medicine Residency at MountainView Regional Medical Center.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Whittier College, Dr. Tryon graduated with his medical degree from the University of New Mexico in 2012, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the same education venue in 2015.  He stayed on as a Chief Resident in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety and completed that position in 2016.

As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
