Thereafter, he completed his fellowship in cardiology and his fellowship in interventional cardiology at Yale University School of Medicine in 2004 and 2005, respectively.
Following his education, the doctor earned Fellowship status with the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He also became board-certified in both cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
