A devoted pediatrician, Dr. Operti-Considine sees patients at her private practice - Kidz 1st Pediatrics - in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Originally from Argentina, she earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from the Universidad del Salvador in 1988. Upon relocating to the United States, she completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in 1994.

Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Professionally, Dr. Operti-Considine is an active member of the National and Michigan chapters of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She also serves as an Assistant Professor at Oakland University/WBH (since 2017), and Wayne State University (since 2000).

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. On a more personal note, Dr. Operti-Considine is married and has two children and a Boxer dog. When she is not in the office, she loves spending time with family, reading, traveling and exercising. Her favorite books are El Corazon Helado by Almudena Grande; Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese, and her favorite movie is The Usual Suspects. Her bucket list wishes are to go to Machu Picchu in Peru, take photography classes, and do a food/wine tasting trip in Italy.
