The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
On a more personal note, Dr. Operti-Considine is married and has two children and a Boxer dog. When she is not in the office, she loves spending time with family, reading, traveling and exercising. Her favorite books are El Corazon Helado by Almudena Grande; Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese, and her favorite movie is The Usual Suspects. Her bucket list wishes are to go to Machu Picchu in Peru, take photography classes, and do a food/wine tasting trip in Italy.
