With his paternal grandfather and father greatly influencing him to become a physician, Dr. Del Pilar Jr. graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of the Philippines Manila College of Medicine in 2002. He then relocated to the United States, performing his residency in family medicine at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine.

As a testament to his success, Dr. Del Pilar Jr. is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

In addition to being a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), Dr. Del Pilar Jr. is an active member of the California Association of Family Physicians and the New York Academy of Family Physicians.
