Dr. Jones earned his undergraduate degrees in Science and Philosophy from Emory University, where he also played collegiate soccer. He then obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine. After completing a general surgery internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and residency training in orthopedic surgery at the prestigious Harvard Combined Orthopaedics Residency Program, Dr. Jones was honored to serve as chief resident at Massachusetts General Hospital. Furthering his expertise, he completed a fellowship in shoulder surgery and sports medicine at the University of Pittsburgh.
As a board-certified physician with subspecialty certification in sports medicine, Dr. Jones's academic role includes serving as a full professor in Orthopaedic Surgery at Ochsner Clinical School and the University of Queensland, Australia.
