He then went on to perform residencies in family medicine at Doctors Hospital and at John Peter Smith Hospital (Tarrant County Hospital District) in 1995 and 1997, respectively.
Successful in his field, the doctor is board-certified in undersea and bariatric medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
