Dr. Gandhi is a 2007-graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. Following a one-year internal medicine internship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens in Queens, New York (2007 – 2008), she pursued her neurology residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, in Stony Brook, New York (2008 – 2009). Dr. Gandhi completed her training and then continued on to a fellowship in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York (2009 – 2012). Prior to medical school, she attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurosciences and Behavioral Biology.

Upon the completion of his training, Dr. Gandhi obtained board certification in neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation that was founded in 1934 as a method of identifying qualified specialists in psychiatry and neurology. The ABPN is one of 24 member boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties. 

Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system. Neurology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of conditions and disease involving the central and peripheral nervous systems, including their coverings, blood vessels, and all effector tissue, such as muscle.

Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida, Dr. Gandhi is a distinguished member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Physicians Society of Central Florida.
