News Releases Internist Vivian Habib Ayoub, MD Provides Services for the Greater San Antonio, Texas Area February 22, 2019 Martin Owens Edit Get to know Internist Dr. Vivian Ayoub, who serves the San Antonio, Texas area at Conviva Care Solutions and several local hospitals. Dr. Ayoub earned her medical degree from the St. George’s University School of Medicine. She continued her studies with an internship in internal medicine at the St. Barnabas Medical Center and a residency in internal medicine with the University of Connecticut. Dr. Ayoub has been board certified by the American Medical Association and holds a Texas state medical license through 2028. Currently, Dr. Ayoub serves as the Vice President of Medical Affairs with Conviva Care Solutions (formerly MCCI Medical Group). In her current capacity, she oversees the entire market from a clinical perspective for wholly owned clinics, affiliated PCPs, and specialists/networks. She is additionally an internist who performs physical exams and treats a wide spectrum of common illnesses in adults. To stay up-to-date on developments in her field, Dr. Ayoub maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Professional Coders, the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society. She has contributed to furthering the field of internal medicine through her dedication to her patients and to the healthcare centers she serves. Dr. Ayoub’s passion is to educate not only patients regarding their health conditions but also other physicians/colleagues on appropriate and specific clinical documentation. Internal Medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Internists are skilled in the management of patients who have undifferentiated or multi-system disease processes. They care for hospitalized and ambulatory patients and may play a major role in education and research. Dr. Ayoub speaks Arabic in addition to English, which allows her to reach a wide range of diverse patients. She is a volunteer with the Coptic Orthodox Charities as well as Helping Other People Everywhere, which allows her to give her time to those in need. When she is not seeing patients or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
