Get to know Internist Dr. Amar Bhati, who serves patients in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Bhati is a skilled internist specializing in the medical treatment of adults. He has been in private practice in Cincinnati, Ohio since 2018.

Prior to his current endeavors, he worked at Christ Hospital from 2012 until 2018, serving as a committee member of the Ambulatory Clinical Advisory Group, Primary Care Quality, Clinical Operations, and Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Bhati graduated with his medical degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine. He then went on to perform his residency in internal medicine at Trihealth, where he served as chief resident in 2012. 

Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the Academy of Medicine Cincinnati, the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, the American College of Physicians, Cincinnatians for Progress, the Asian Indian Alliance, and the American Medical Association.

As for his volunteer experience, Dr. Bhati serves as a Board Member of the Cincinnati Health Department (2018 – present); Co Chair of the Finance Committee at the Cincinnati Health Department (2019 – present); Board Member of the Hamilton County Hospital Commission (2018 – present); Procurement Committee Member of the SVDP Charitable Pharmacy Board of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati (2014 – present); Member of the Board of Trustees of the iSPACE STEM Education Center (2018 – present); Development Committee Member of the iSPACE STEM Education Center (2019 – present); and Founder of the Dr. Anant R. Bhati Endowment / University of Cincinnati (2012 – present).

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists.
