Get to know Physiatrist Dr. Joseph Jimenez, who serves patients in Saddle Brook, New Jersey.

Dr. Jimenez is a dual board-certified physiatrist & sports medicine physician serving as the Medical Director of Noracare in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. 

He is an expert in spinal interventional techniques including epidural injections, facet injections, trigger point injections, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and percutaneous lumbar discectomy. He is passionate about regenerative medicine employing Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), Exosomes and Stem Cell injections in combination with interventional techniques or musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided joint injections to help heal and repair injuries to joints or to the spine. He is also a local expert in percutaneous tenotomy using specialized tenotomy instruments like Tenjet to repair torn muscles and tendons with removal of scar tissue and regeneration through PRP that may help avoid orthopedic surgery.

With a passion for helping others, Dr. Jimenez believes in preventive care for optimal musculoskeletal health, conservative management of pain, minimally invasive surgery for select patients, and cutting-edge research in healthcare technology for all patients. 

Having helped thousands of patients, he continuously strives to give them the very best path to health, unique solutions for pain management, as well as plans for optimal health and injury prevention.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Jimenez graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University and his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He then went on to perform his internship in internal medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Hackensack Meridian JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute.

As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation & sports medicine by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The ABPMR was established in 1947 as the certifying body for the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation under the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Locally, Dr. Jimenez is a part of the team of professionals at REHABILITY NJ, a multi-disciplinary rehab practice that integrates physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, and sports medicine for optimum results. He is also affiliated with Hudson Regional Hospital and Bayshore Medical Center. 

Physical medicine and rehabilitation, also known as physiatry, is a branch of medicine that aims to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to people with physical impairments or disabilities.
