Dr. Dickerson founded Green Imaging to provide affordable, high-quality medical imaging for uninsured and high deductible patients in Houston and rapidly expanded the company to provide services throughout Texas. Dr. Dickerson is also an interpreting radiologist for Medical Clinic of Houston L.L.P. whose goal is to provide excellent medical care in a caring and service-oriented environment while utilizing the latest medical technology.
Dr. Dickerson earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas in 1989. She was awarded membership in Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She then went on to complete her internship at St. Joseph Hospital, followed by her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where she was chief resident. Dr. Dickerson also completed extensive training in cancer imaging at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Dickerson is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). Established in 1934, the ABR is a not for profit physician-led organization supporting its candidates and diplomates for the benefit of patients and medical professionals. Dr. Dickerson has been honored with several recognitions throughout her career, including being named Top Doctor in H Texas Magazine in 2005 and 2006 as well as being named Texas Super Doctors in Texas Monthly’s Rising Stars Edition in 2017 and 2018. She is on the national advisory board of the Association of Independent Doctors. She was recognized as a Health Leader by the Houston Business Journal last year. Her company, Green Imaging, has received the Baylor University Family Business Award, a Healthcare Revolution award, a Health Value Institute Award and had its data validated by Health Value Institute.
