Dr. Pau is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery as well as the surgical and medical management of glaucoma and related diseases. He joined Eye Consultants of Atlanta in 2016 and practices at the Cumberland, Fayetteville, and Peachtree Corners locations.
Prior to his current endeavors, he was an Assistant Professor and Director of the Glaucoma Service at the University of Florida.
Earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, Whiting School of Engineering, Dr. Pau went on to earn his Medical Degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Subsequently, he completed his residency training at the State University of New York-Stony Brook/Nassau University Medical Center and his fellowship training at Devers Eye Institute/Casey Eye Institute and Houston Methodist.
With years of experience in the field, the doctor is board certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO). The ABO is an independent, nonprofit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists (eye physicians and surgeons) in the United States.
