I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Manhattan. I place importance on establishing a trusting environment and encourage open communication to strengthen the therapeutic alliance. My aim is to establish a collaborative partnership to empower individuals to live more satisfying, values-driven lives. I specialize in the evidence-based treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), including "Pure-O," or purely obsessional type, and Anxiety Disorders (e.g., Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Phobias). I was trained by an internationally-recognized expert in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard of OCD treatment. I also specialize in the treatment of perfectionism, mood disorders, as well as concerns related to relationships, family, and career. In addition to providing treatment, I provide supervision and training to future clinicians. My approach is to tailor treatments to the individual's goals and values. I practice empathy and compassion to provide a helpful therapeutic experience and improve life quality.
