A highly skilled and board-certified vascular surgeon, Dr. Pardon is affiliated with Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma, Alabama. With an extensive background in vascular and endovascular surgery, he is dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients suffering from a variety of vascular conditions.

At Vaughan Regional Medical Center, he offers a wide range of vascular services, including carotid artery surgery, aneurysm repair, treatment for peripheral arterial disease, and the creation of dialysis access. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Dr. Parden earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Alabama before pursuing his medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. His rigorous training included a general surgical residency followed by a specialized fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at prestigious institutions.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery (FSVS), and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), Dr. Parden is board-certified in vascular surgery and general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS).

Before launching the Vaughan Vascular Surgery program, he practiced in Montgomery, Alabama, where he built a highly successful vascular surgery practice recognized for exceptional patient satisfaction. His commitment to delivering tailored surgical solutions has resulted in outstanding patient outcomes, reinforcing his reputation as a leader in the field. 

Dr. Parden’s passion for his work is matched only by his commitment to his patients. He goes the extra mile to ensure that each individual receives the highest quality of care. "I love what I do, and I believe that my dedication translates into better outcomes for my patients," he stated. 

Reflecting on his journey into medicine, he credits much of his success to the guidance of mentors throughout his career, particularly his father, Stephen R. Parden, MD, a respected general surgeon. He also acknowledges the significant influence of Dr. William Jordan and Dr. Benjamin Pearce, whose mentorship helped shape his medical practice.
On a more personal note, Dr. Parden is an enthusiastic outdoorsman who enjoys spending time on his farm and cherishing moments with his beloved springer spaniel, Mattie. He can often be found on his tractor or visiting local businesses such as Lassiter's Hardware and Mosely's grocery and gas station, connecting with the community in Pintlala.
