Dr. Kapur is a Georgia native. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Business Management. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Following graduation, he returned to Atlanta to manage two large group practices for several years before he was invited to join Lipson Dental Group.
Dr. Kapur believes in staying involved with the dental community. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Seattle Study Club. He is also an active volunteer at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic and Give a Smile for the Special Olympics.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a dentist, Dr. Kapur diagnoses oral diseases, as well as promotes oral health and disease prevention.
