What to avoid before an endo treatment?
Depends on your medical history and condition and the type of sedation and anesthesia you will or will not be receiving…in general, take all your routine medications as normal if any, proceed as you normally do prior to your treatment if you are not having IV or oral sedation. Certain medically compromised patients will need special pre-operative instructions and may need to do certain things differently prior to their endodontic therapy. Prior to any IV sedation or oral sedation specific pre-operative instructions will be given as well. These cases are different. Can I eat hot foods after a root canal?
Yes. Should be no problem. Immediately after your root canal though you need to make sure your anesthesia has worn off so you don’t chew your cheek, tongue , lip, etc or burn yourself with the hot foods or liquids. READ MORE
