Distinguished as an exceptional otolaryngologist, Dr. Milburn is a part of the team of professionals at Mid-South Ear, Nose and Throat, P.C. He has a diverse ENT practice with special interests in endocrine and salivary surgery & surgical oncology of the head and neck.
Prior to his current endeavors, he served as division chairman for the Otolaryngology departments at both Methodist and Baptist hospital systems.
A 1992 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, Dr. Milburn moved to Memphis for two years of general surgery residency followed by four years of otolaryngology/head and neck surgery training.
During his residency training, he did research in cochlear immunocytochemistry and established a research laboratory at UT/Memphis.
Board certified in otolaryngology, Dr. Milburn is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS). The ABOHNS serves the public by ensuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.
Reflecting his dedication to his work, Dr. Milburn is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Having made significant contributions to the field of otolaryngology, Dr. Milburn has traveled to Geneva, Switzerland for specialized training in salivary gland endoscopic surgery (sialendoscopy) and established the first program in Memphis for endoscopic care of salivary disorders. He has also performed medical missions in Ecuador, China, and Peru.
Married with four children, Dr. Milburn and his wife, Jennifer, enjoy travel and theater. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on his small farm.
