Healthy Life Bariatrics is a bariatric weight loss surgery and cosmetic body contouring center with three locations in Los Angeles, including Glendale, Encino, and Century City, California. There, Dr. Moeinolmolki offers a variety of bariatric treatments, including medication, noninvasive procedures like gastric balloon, and minimally invasive weight loss surgery like sleeve gastrectomy. With proven weight loss treatments and body sculpting, he helps his patients achieve greater energy, improved body confidence, and healthier living.
Dr. Moeinolmolki is a native to Los Angeles, completing high school at Calabasas High School in 1988. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he received a Service Excellence Award for his volunteer work at the UCLA Medical Center while completing both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in microbiology and molecular genetics. He earned his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete an intensive surgery internship at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, subsequently completing his residency in general surgery at the prestigious Georgetown University Medical Center in 2004.
Dr. Moeinolmolki’s keen interest in minimally invasive surgery then prompted him to complete a fellowship in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, Montefiore Hospital in New York City. Following this, he practiced for 8 years at Greater Baltimore Medical Center where he performed over 2000 minimally invasive procedures and surgeries as an attending surgeon. During this period, Dr. Moeinolmolki developed a thorough understanding of the cosmetic needs of his post-weight loss surgery patients and developed a plan for creating one of the most comprehensive cosmetic and minimally invasive weight-loss surgical programs in the country.
Dr. Moeinolmolki’s passion for aesthetic balance and his keen understanding of artistic beauty prompted him to pursue a second fellowship – this time in cosmetic surgery. During this fellowship, he performed over 1400 advanced cosmetic plastic surgeries. He had the distinct opportunity to train under the world-renowned surgeon, Angelo Cuzalina, MD.
Dr. Moeinolmolki is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, nonprofit organization founded in 1937 to provide board certification to individuals who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge in the field of surgery. Additionally, Dr. Moeinolmolki is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.
