Educated in the United States, Dr. Birkitt obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University, and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2006.

On a more personal note, Dr. Birkitt currently resides in Leesburg with his wife, Judi, and their son, Hunter. In his free time, he enjoys biking, gardening, music and spending time with his family and friends.
