Dr. Albino received his BA in Biology from Boston University. He later returned to his childhood home in Puerto Rico to be near his family. He obtained his medical degree from Universidad Central Del Caribe where he graduated with honors. He then went on to perform his internship in internal medicine, residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in oncology at Veterans Affair Hospital in San Juan.
Following his training, he attained board certification in medical oncology and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Among his professional affiliations, Dr. Albino is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
