Can I have braces for 6 months?

Do retainers need to be worn all night?
If you want to keep your teeth from moving away from your finished orthodontic treatment positions, you must incorporate some form of "retention." Every orthodontist has their own protocol for retention and each patient doesn't get the same type of retainer. We use fixed retainers, removable retainers, and sometimes both. Each situation is different, but the point is that teeth usually need life-long "retention." Regards, Dr. Keith Cyrus Keller, D.M.D READ MORE
