Specializing in knee surgery, shoulder surgery, and sports medicine, Dr. Brown serves as a practicing orthopedic surgeon with Fondren Orthopedic Group, a division of OrthoLoneStar, in Houston, Texas. Within the group, he holds multiple leadership roles, including President, membership on the Management Committee, Recruitment/Retirement Committee, and Physician Compensation Committee.

To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Brown completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Weill Medical College, Cornell University, in New York, New York, which concluded in 2007.
Board certified in orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine, Dr. Brown is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). To ensure safe, ethical, and effective practice of orthopedic surgery, the ABOS maintains the highest standards for education, practice, and conduct through examination, certification, and maintenance of certification for the benefit of the public.
Continuously advancing his efforts, Dr. Brown remains an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons.
