Dr. Prestwich is a qualified dentist offering contemporary dental care to patients in and around Albuquerque, New Mexico. Serving as the owner & operator of Ivory Dental, he brings his years of knowledge and experience to the work of creating healthy, beautiful smiles for adults and children alike. He does so every day through family and general dental checkups, and with a range of today’s best cosmetic and restorative services.

“At Ivory Dental, Dr. Brendon Prestwich has the needs of your entire family in mind, because we’re all vulnerable to the same oral health problems. When you come to our Albuquerque dental office, you’ll find a team ready to greet you, make you feel welcome, and offer you the personalized care you deserve. We recommend that our patients see us twice a year for dental exams and cleanings. With regular appointments like these, we can help you monitor your smile for even very slight changes. We believe in providing conservative care, which is all about treating new problems as soon as possible. With conservative care, procedures are less invasive and patients can keep more of their natural smile” as stated on the practice’s website.

A native New Mexican, Dr. Prestwich was born and raised in Albuquerque. He completed high school at Eldorado, after which he attended Brigham Young University – Idaho where he acquired a bachelor’s degree in biology. Upon graduation, he went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.

He lived and practiced the beginning of his career in Charleston, South Carolina. He then returned home to Albuquerque in 2013 where he has been continuing to practice dentistry at Ivory Dental & Route 66 Children’s Dentistry.

Route 66 Children’s Dentistry is a children’s only practice specially designed to serve the unique dental needs of children with 2 locations in Albuquerque’s SE heights and Westside. The highly trained providers and friendly staff provide comprehensive dentistry for children from 9 months to 18 years old. From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the caring staff, Route 66 Children’s Dentistry is committed to providing a positive experience for each child and building a foundation for healthy oral habits for life.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Prestwich enjoys spending time with his wife, Danelle, and their five children. He also likes tinkering with projects around his house.
