Get to know Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Specialist Dr. Angela Driskill, who serves the population of Arkansas.

Dr. Driskill graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in 1993, giving her over two decades of experience in her field. After obtaining her medical degree she then completed her residency with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Area Health Education Centers. She is dual certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and in Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine from the American Board of Preventive Medicine. She currently practices with Baptist Health Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center and is affiliated with Baptist Health Medical Center.

Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy is used to treat many conditions, such as diabetic foot wounds, certain difficult-to-heal wounds, complicated skin or bone infections, carbon monoxide poisoning, and the effects of radiation following cancer treatment. The primary purpose of HBO therapy in wound care is to directly improve the delivery of oxygen to injured tissue, which can help promote healing.
