Dr. Sarma Kunda, MD, is a revered anesthesiologist with over five decades of dedicated service in Chattanooga and its surrounding areas. Affiliated with leading medical institutions like Erlanger Medical Center, Erlanger Baroness Hospital, Park ridge East Hospital, and Tennova Healthcare - Cleveland, Dr. Kunda has become a trusted figure in the local healthcare landscape.

Dr. Kunda graduated from Guntur Medical College in India, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees in 1971. He then moved to the United States to complete his internship at Saint Joseph Hospital, Inc., and later pursued a fellowship in anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, finishing in 1979.

As a board-certified anesthesiologist and Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Kunda is an active member of prestigious organizations, including the Tennessee Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Chattanooga Hamilton County Medical Society. His commitment to the highest standards of patient care and professional excellence is reflected in his continuous pursuit of knowledge and innovation in anesthesiology.
