With over three decades of dedication to patient care, Edward H. Chappelle Jr., DDS, leads Your Bowie Dentist in Bowie, Maryland, with expertise and a warm, family-centered approach. His extensive experience, paired with a modern, welcoming office, ensures that every patient feels at home and well cared for from the moment they walk in.

Dr. Chappelle earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, and further honed his skills through general practice residencies at the renowned Eastman Dental Center and The Genesee Hospital, both located in Rochester, New York. His commitment to excellence in dentistry is evident through his ongoing education, as he continually updates his knowledge of the latest dental technologies and techniques. 

As a Fellow of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the American College of Dentists, Dr. Chappelle is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to his patients. He is also an active member of the National Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Maryland State Dental Association.

Today, Dr. Chappelle combines his extensive training with a deep commitment to patient care, delivering exceptional dental treatments designed to make people feel both comfortable and confident in their smiles. With each new patient, he sees an opportunity to build lasting relationships and guide them toward achieving their best oral health.

Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Chappelle is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He actively participates in local initiatives, including the Largo Community Church Men’s Fellowship and Video Ministry. Additionally, he collaborates with the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated’s scholarship program, providing mentorship to high school students and inspiring the next generation.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Chappelle enjoys spending quality time with his wife and friends. His interests include listening to contemporary jazz, photography, playing softball, and traveling to new destinations.
