Dr. Burke was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from Palo Verde High School and attended the University of Nevada, Reno, receiving an Honors degree in Biochemistry. Her Doctorate of Optometry was conferred at the Southern California College of Optometry where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received multiple awards for her skills and passion for pediatric eye care and vision therapy while serving as her class president. Dr. Burke enjoys full scope primary eye care including pediatrics, ocular disease, and contact lenses. In 2015 she was named the “Young Optometrist of the Year” by the Nevada Optometric Association. In 2015 she founded the practice which is now known as Eyediology Vision Care. She also volunteers her time as a board member for the Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation. She has loved becoming a practice owner and takes pride in the warm and inviting energy and new technology available in her practice.
In her free time, Dr. Burke enjoys cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights, Peleton fitness, trying out new local restaurants and spending time with her husband and two young sons.
