A physiatrist and specialist in the field of pain management, Dr. Prasad is a part of the team of professionals at Arkansas Spine and Pain Center of Excellence.

With facilities in Little Rock, Searcy, Jacksonville, Conway, White Hall, and Benton, Arkansas Spine and Pain Center of Excellence is Central Arkansas’ leading program for the management, treatment, and rehabilitation for spine and pain relief and sports-related injuries. The practice has the most qualified pain treatment specialists in the state who use the latest technology along with proven methods of pain treatment to ensure the most successful recovery of patients so that they can get back to living pain free. 

Educated in India, Dr. Prasad graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Bangalore Medical College in 1993. He then relocated to the United States, performing his internship in internal medicine and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York Medical College in 2003 and 2006, respectively. 

Trained in interventional spine & pain management, the doctor is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The mission of the ABPMR is to serve the public by improving the quality of patient care in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This is accomplished through a process of certification and continuing certification that fosters excellence and encourages continuous learning.

Among his professional affiliations, Dr. Prasad is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the Pulaski County Medical Society (President-Elect of the Board of Directors).
