A graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1997, Dr. Hunt completed his pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan/Wayne State University in 2000. He further specialized in pediatric infectious diseases through a fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine, completing it in 2003, where he also contributed as an instructor for a year.
Dr. Hunt’s dedication to public health is underscored by his Master of Public Health Degree from The Ohio State University College of Public Health, where he studied from 2014 to 2017. His commitment to global health and infectious disease management is highlighted by specialized training, including a tuberculosis workshop at National Jewish Health in Denver, and the esteemed Gorgas Diploma Course in Clinical Tropical Medicine in Lima, Peru.
