As a distinguished academic and clinician, he has served on the Senior Faculty at Baylor College of Medicine since July 2022 and previously held the position of Associate Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine since 2004. A graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1997, Dr. Hunt completed his pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan/Wayne State University in 2000. He further specialized in pediatric infectious diseases through a fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine, completing it in 2003, where he also contributed as an instructor for a year. 

Dr. Hunt’s dedication to public health is underscored by his Master of Public Health Degree from The Ohio State University College of Public Health, where he studied from 2014 to 2017.
