Dr. Rozuk is a radiologist serving Millersburg and the surrounding communities. She is affiliated with Pomerene Hospital, established in 1919 as a not-for-profit corporation with the goal of building a hospital in Holmes County. The original facility started with a six-bed women's ward, a three-bed men's ward, six private rooms, a three-bed OB ward, and a nursery with five cribs. There were ten physicians on staff. Today, they have more than 325 employees and 80 physicians. After several major renovations and expansion projects, the hospital has 3 floors and more than 30 departments.
In 1979, Dr. Rozuk earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She went on to complete a residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Additionally, Dr. Rozuk is board certified in radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties. They were founded to protect the public by assessing and certifying doctors who meet specific educational, training, and professional requirements.
As for advice for newcomers to the field, Dr. Rozuk states, "Keep in mind that you are a doctor's doctor, dealing with the doctor and support technicians." With 31 years of experience practicing radiology, Dr. Rozuk proclaims, "I have always liked anatomy. It was a choice between normal and abnormal." Specializing in thorough radiology services, Dr. Rozuk says, "There's a lot to know. I like working in a smaller hospital in a smaller community."
