He subsequently completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in neurosurgery at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine/Wake Forest University Medical Center. Licensed to practice in both Georgia and South Carolina, he maintains affiliations with several prominent medical institutions, including Candler Hospital, Memorial Health University Medical Center, and Effingham Health System. Notably, he served as Chief of Staff at Saint Joseph’s Hospital from 2007 to 2009.
On a professional level, he is an active member of several professional medical organizations, including the American Medical Association, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, where he holds Fellow status.
