In order to provide a more comprehensive medical approach, Dr. Whetstone completed a General Practice Residency Program at the Veterans Hospital in Palo Alto. There, he served as chief resident until 1997.

Dr. Whetstone continues his pursuit in providing the highest quality of family care available for his patients. He completes hundreds of hours in continuing education, ensuring that he offers the best quality and the most advanced techniques to his patients.

Dr. Whetstone is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society, the Spear Study Club, the Peninsula Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and the Northern California Academy of Dental Research.
