Pertaining to his educational background, Dr. Gould graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Rutgers University in 1983. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford in 1989, and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch in 1994.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) since 1998, he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
