Originally from, Arkansas, his academic pursuits took root at the University of Arkansas, where he cultivated his passion for research, laying the foundation for his illustrious career. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1985, he ventured to Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, where his commitment to advancing dental science blossomed.
During his tenure at Baylor, Dr. Bolding’s dedication to research was evident, earning him multiple prestigious awards. In 1989, he emerged with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, equipped not only with clinical expertise but also a fervent desire to push the boundaries of dental knowledge.
Continuing his educational odyssey, he embarked on an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center. Here, he not only obtained his Specialty Certification in 1993 but also delved deeper into his research interests. His thirst for knowledge led him to earn a Postdoctoral Masters in Craniofacial Biology in 1992, further cementing his position as a leading authority in his field.
A former Board Examiner and current Diplomate of the Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Bolding’s expertise is internationally recognized. Specializing in orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery, and dental implants, he has left an indelible mark on the field, with numerous publications to his name.
However, his career took a poignant turn in 2016 when his father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. A subsequent stroke in 2017, attributed to obstructive sleep apnea, fueled his commitment to finding solutions for sleep disorder breathing and Alzheimer’s disease. This personal experience catalyzed his mission to merge his surgical expertise with cutting-edge research to combat these debilitating conditions.

Renowned as a healthcare visionary, he has consulted with industry leaders for over 15 years, advocating for improved business processes to enhance patient care quality.
